On 20th May 2022, we were thrilled to have Dr. Rakesh Gupta, a lecturer in Commerce and Entrepreneurship Mindset Curriculum (EMC) at SCERT, Govt of NCT, Delhi, as our distinguished guest to give us a brief about the entrepreneurial mindset and its importance. Students from classes 9th to 12th got the chance to have an interactive session with him, where he helped them clear their doubts regarding entrepreneurship. Through this workshop, we all learned about the need for an entrepreneurial mindset and how it could be inculcated in all of us, the various ways of funding a startup, and discussed stories of how the successful companies of today started and without risk and failures, there is no success. He also told us about the known Business Blasters competition, a practical component of EMC where participating students could implement their ideas in real life with the seed money of Rs 2000 per student given by the government.
The session ended with students filled with enthusiasm and a new driven motivation towards entrepreneurship.
