' *Each day-Earth Day'* .... Keeping this in mind students from Nursery to Class 5 indulged in an array of activities. Be it planting, cleaning the surroundings, poster making, best out of waste or emphasising on the 3R's.
EARTH DAY 2022 – APRIL 22
INVEST IN OUR PLANET
On 22nd April 2022, students of Birla Vidya Niketan celebrated Earth Day. This day is celebrated to honour the achievements of the environmental movement and raising awareness of the importance of long-term ecological sustainability. Different activities were conducted in the classes.
Class 6 students were engaged in the activity of collage making using grains, leaves etc.
Class 8 students created beautiful items from old and used fabrics, plastics, etc.
Class 7 and 9 students participated actively in the discussion on the solutions to eliminate single use plastic.
For class 10 students , a quiz was conducted on Plastic Waste Management ACT 2016
